1. Jamun

Referred to as the ‘Fruit of Gods’, Jamun serves endless health benefits. It is the best fruit to have in this season as it prevents the body from infections and viruses. Not just the Jamun pulp but its seed and other byproducts are also of great medicinal importance. This fruit can be consumed in diverse and innovative ways in the form of ice-cream or frozen dessert like sorbet. It is highly rich in vitamin C and helps in regulating blood sugar levels, provides aid to diabetic patients. Moreover, the dried seeds of Jamun can be crushed into a fine powder and consumed every day with lukewarm water to help in weight loss.

 

Jamun is considered one of the most healthy monsoon foods as it is anti-oxidant rich and is loaded with nutrients.

 

2. Cherries/Peaches/Litchis

These seasonal fruits are must-have in this season. Each fruit has its own characteristic properties. While cherries are rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C, peaches help you in maintaining a good digestive system.  The abundance of vitamin C in cherries also helps to keep our skin and hair healthy.
