Mishry Rating
Summary
Milky Mist Fruit Yogurt feature fresh fruity flavors with a mild sweetness. We liked the Mango variant better. That said, a cleaner ingredient list would have been appreciated.
Fruits are a fun way to add not just flavor, but some vibrancy and nutrition to a plain ol’ bowl of yogurt.
Milky Mist offers fruit yogurt in four variants. We ordered the Mango and Strawberry fruit yogurts and here is Mishry’s Milky Mist Fruit Yogurt review.

Is this something you can consume frequently? What are the key ingredients that go in the making? In addition to eating it out of the cup, what can you pair the yogurt with?

1. Taste
Flavor
Are these fruit yogurt cups too sweet? Could we taste the natural fruit flavors, or did they seem artificial?
Freshness
When milk-based products go bad, they reek of a sour aroma. Moreover, the taste is off-putting. What about the flavor of the fruits, did they have a freshness?
How was our experience with Milky Mist fruit yogurt?
2. Texture
Smooth, rich, creamy? Does the yogurt have a thick, chunky consistency like yogurt made using full-cream milk does? Or was it light?
Has the fruit been completely blended or could we see some bits and pieces?
3. Appearance
Do they feature the orange and pink shades of the fruit? If yes, are they vibrant or pale?

Does the brand specify the fat percentage of the milk used? What is their choice of sweetener? The fruit content?

Milky Mist Fruit Yogurt – Detailed Review
What we found, liked, and didn’t-
From the quality of packaging to aroma, taste, and consistency, here are all the details you need to know.
1. Mango
Milky Mist Mango Fruit Yogurt has a pale yellow look. Despite containing added food color, the appearance is not vibrant.
The main ingredients are milk and milk solids, active lactic culture, stabilizing agent (INS 440), fruit content (8%) (mango pulp, mango pieces, sugar, water stabilizer (INS 440)), acidifying agent (INS 330), Class II preservative (INS 202), synthetic food color (INS 102, INS 110), and added natural-identical flavoring substances- mango).
This yogurt features a thick, dropping consistency. Evenness is retained throughout and this feels smooth.
A common occurrence with packaged curd/yogurt is you’d find the top layer to be watery and the bottom parts to be extra thick. Thankfully, that was not the case with Milky Mist.
Taste-wise, Milky Mist has done a commendable job! They nailed the mango flavor. It is not too bold or too subtle. Moreover, the sweetness is subtle, as well. We also tasted some (tiny) mango pieces in certain spoonfuls.
The only complaint we have is the ingredient list. We think the brand could have used cleaner, more nutrient-dense ingredients.
- This has a refreshing taste.
- No ingredient tastes industrial.
- It feels light on the palate.
- Uniformity in consistency is maintained throughout the cup.
- We liked the mild sweetness.
- Milky Mist NAILED the mango flavor.
- We would’ve appreciated a cleaner ingredient list.
Missing the king of fruits? We’d recommend trying this Milky Mist variant for its PRETTY AMAZING flavor.
2. Strawberry
The packaging remains unchanged among both variants.
Milky Mist Strawberry shows an aesthetically pleasing pink hue. The consistency is uniform throughout. The only difference between Mango and Strawberry was that the latter is relatively thinner. That said, it still had the rich, dropping consistency.
The main ingredients are milk and milk solids, sugar, active lactic culture, stabilizing agent (INS 440), fruit content (8%) from strawberry preparation (strawberry pieces, sugar, water, stabilizer (INS 440), acidifying agent (INS 330), Class II Preservative (INS 202)).
Contains permitted synthetic food color (INS 124, INS 150d, INS 122) and added flavors (natural identical flavoring substances -strawberry)
The strawberry flavor is fairly subtle and so is the sweetness. Most berry-flavored packaged food products feature an undesirable, synthetic flavor. It was not the case here.
Since this is prepared with yogurt and strawberries (both are naturally sour), we were delightfully surprised. As mentioned in the ingredient list, strawberry pieces are used. Though the bits weren’t visible, we tasted them in the form of a subtle crunch.
- This makes for a good on-the-go snack.
- The sweetness is subtle.
- It tastes natural.
- There’s a slight crunch.
- It is priced economically.
- The yogurt contains added colors and flavors.
- It also has preservatives.
Need something berrylicious post a meal? As a snack? This subtly flavored Milky Mist variant might just do the job!
