Our Review Factors
How did we review Kwality Walls Trixy Cheesecake? This section explains our parameters.
1. Taste
The prime question – how close does this frozen dessert come to the taste of a cheesecake? Is the sweetness balanced? Does the berry sauce taste fresh? Are there any off-putting flavors, like that of fat sources or berries turned bad?
Do the flavors of the berry sauce, ‘cheesecake’ and crumble marry well?
2. Texture
We gauged the texture of the three components individually and then together as a bite.
Was the cookie crust packed well or crumbly? Did it add some crunch to an otherwise creamy, melt-in-the-mouth dessert? What about the middle layer, was it smooth and rich or did it have some graininess? And the berry sauce/compote at the top? Was it too flowy or did it have some structure? Spread evenly? Did the berry bits add any textural variation?
3. Other Parameters
Here, we recorded the price, packaging, shelf life, and more.

Aroma + Appearance
At the top, we saw a berry sauce that had an eye-catchy hue with shades of purple. There were bits of the fruit too. We had a better view of the dessert on scooping out a spoonful, there was a layer of cookie crumble, followed by the cheesecake creme layer, and topped with a berry sauce.
Texture
Upon gauging the textures individually, we found that the layer of cookie crumble was not as thick or as densely packed like that of a regular cheesecake slice. It did have a bite which breaks the monotony of an otherwise creamy dessert.
The cheese layer looks fairly similar to the OG, though not as creamy, the smoothness coated our palette like how the actual dessert does. This wasn’t icy either.
Though uneven, the berry sauce layer added some chewiness with its jam-like consistency. As a bite, these layers worked well.
Flavor
The overall sweetness was well-balanced, no complaints there. The bottom-most layer of cookie crumble had a lovely cinnamon flavor that tied the dessert together wonderfully. The cream cheese layer had the right sweetness and did not taste stale or industrial, which was a concern as this frozen dessert contains cheesecake flavoring and is not actually made using cream cheese.
The berry sauce was primarily sweet with hints of tartness, beautiful flavor.
So, did it work well? Absolutely.
Pros
- Replicates cheesecake flavors well
- All three elements have apt textures
- Impressive packaging
- Pocket-friendly pricing
- The cinnamon cookie crumble is delicious
Cons
- The proportion of the cookie crumble to the other two components was low.
