How To Use Mayonnaise? 5 Lipsmacking Ways

The ‘what to eat’ situation at home is always intense and the stocks near the end of the month start to diminish a little, it’s only fair that you start thinking of ways to use the ones that are already lying around. One of the most used condiments that is always stored in the refrigerator is mayonnaise.

Mayonnaise (मेयोनेज़) or mayo is a classic condiment that is served with foods like burgers and sandwiches and vastly popular in the west. Making mayonnaise at home requires very few ingredients and almost no chef-like skills. The two key ingredients used to make mayonnaise at home are eggs and oil. An eggless version can be made with full cream milk and oil. Adding vinegar or lemon with a hint of mustard and salt gives mayonnaise it’s classic taste.

Here are 5 ways to use mayonnaise in dishes and not as a condiment –

1) Classic Triple Decker Sandwich

The best part about making a sandwich is that you can add anything and everything depending on your tastebuds. One of the key ingredients to make a tasty sandwich is mayonnaise. You can add grated carrots, cabbage, chopped capsicum, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce according to your preference. Add black pepper and oregano if you wish to. A BIG dollop of mayonnaise and a cheese slice will complete this triple-decker sandwich. Grill in a sandwich maker or on a tawa.

Serve with some potato wedges, ketchup, and mustard. You can also make coleslaw to serve with the sandwich.

Serve with chips, crackers, lavash, and carrot and cucumber sticks.

Season it well with salt and pepper. Refill the empty hardboiled egg whites with this creamy mixture. You can add veggies, chili flakes, and herbs according to your liking.
