Sunbean Beaten Caffe: #FirstImpressions

Sunbean Beaten Caffe

Indulging in a cup of coffee can surely be quite rewarding, but a perfect cup requires much effort. And most of this effort, when you are making coffee the good old way, revolves around the preparation of the beaten coffee paste. Sunbeam Beaten Caffe, an ITC product, has introduced a ready-made smooth, rich coffee paste to bring back familiar flavors. Instead of mixing, stirring and beating the coffee powder, sugar, and water together, Sunbeam Beaten Caffe needs you to simply scoop and mix with warm milk to get a rich cup of coffee. But how does it taste? Let’s find out.

What You Should Know About Sunbean Beaten Caffe

  1. It is ready to use coffee paste.
  2. It must be kept refrigerated at less than 12℃.
  3. A 125g pack contains about 416.25 kcal.
  4. It contains no fat.

Preparing A Cup Of Sunbean Beaten Caffe

Now since the beating procedure is eliminated, as the product itself is in the form of a beaten coffee paste, the preparation for this coffee is quite easy. Following are the steps involved in its preparation:

  1. Take out one teaspoon of coffee paste from the pack.
  2. Add it to one full cup of hot milk and stir until the desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Now enjoy your flavorful cup of coffee.

Sunbean Beaten Caffe is a ready-to-use coffee paste, much like the coffee paste, we used to prepare by hand in a mug eons ago. It is smooth, creamy, and has a pleasing coffee aroma.

#FirstImpressions of Sunbean Beaten Caffe

First off, the idea of bringing a pre-made coffee mix is novel and is a reminder of how coffee used to be made in homes before coffee shops became popular. There’s nostalgia involved in beaten-coffees and as you open the little jar, the sweet aroma of coffee and milk brings back memories.

The cup of coffee you get is creamy and rich. We just wished it was stronger. The pack advocates adding one teaspoon to a cup of warm milk. We felt the need to add more to get the right amount of coffee flavor. It is hard to recall how strong beaten coffee used to be decades ago, but Indians have more cappuccinos, lattes, americanos than ever before, so maybe what we like better now are stronger doses of coffee! Nonetheless, Sunbean Beaten Caffe tastes good, lighter but good. Looking for a taste of nostalgia? Then you could most definitely try this.

Oh, and we also tried the Sunbean Beaten Caffe paste as a spread on a digestive cookie (the brand used was Cremica, our Top Pick in the Best Digestive Biscuit review) and that tasted delicious! Quite a happy, and chance discovery, it is quite a popular snack at our review lab these days!
