Happy Jars 100% Natural Unsweetened Almond Butter: #FirstImpressions

Cutting down on your daily sugar consumption has never been easy, especially if you are someone who enjoys nut-butters. The 100% natural unsweetened almond butter from Happy Jars claims to help you do just that. Made with a single ingredient – roasted almonds – this product is filled with healthy fats and is naturally free of gluten. We decided to taste this promising product ourselves, and here’s a quick look at our experience.

Happy Jars 100% Natural Almond Butter (Unsweetened)

We found Happy Jars’ Almond Butter (Unsweetened) to be amazing. It has the aroma of fresh almond butter and a lovely consistency that’s not too runny, neither too thick and sticky.

Precautions

  1. If you suffer from nut allergy, you must avoid this product.
  2. When preparing a milkshake, make sure that you add a reasonable amount of sweetener, as it will diminish the unsweetened almond butter’s worth.

The 265gms bottle (which we bought and reviewed) is priced at Rs. 480 (MRP) which may seem a little steep to some, putting this product in the premium category.

As far as the quality itself is concerned, we found Happy Jars’ Almond Butter (Unsweetened) to be amazing. It has the aroma of fresh almond butter and a lovely consistency that’s not too runny, neither too thick and sticky. The butter is grainy (which we love) and has a rich, nutty, almond flavor. Delicious.

We enjoyed this as a creamy coating on digestive biscuits as a mid-morning snack. (We still have a stash of digestive biscuits from our Best Digestive Biscuits Review where Cremica Digestives came out tops.)
Unfortunately, we couldn’t stop at one or two. Or six.
