Mishry Rating
SUPERB!
Summary
Coolberg Non Alcoholic Beer offers six variants for everyone to relish. Our undeniable favorites were Cranberry, Ginger, and Peach as indicated by the ratings.
Non-alcoholic beers, commonly known as ‘near beers’ were the result of an innovative brewing process that prevents the formation of alcohol. Typically, non alcohol beers contain a maximum of 0.05% ABV. (ABV is alcohol by volume which denotes the ethyl alcohol content in every 100 ml of alcohol)
Lately, nonalcoholic beers have been gaining popularity, and safe to say, the market is saturated. So why did we choose to review Coolberg? What makes Coolberg stand out of the crowd is their beverages are barley malt-based crafted and have 0.00% ABV. Coolberg Non Alcoholic Beer contains NO alcohol!
In our Coolberg Non-Alcoholic Beer review, we talk about intriguing aspects like the flavors and mouthfeel of the beverages, and more.
Can you guess the one that had us going back for seconds?
Our Review Factors
One of the focus parameters of our Coolberg Beer Non Alcoholic review was to gauge how close these zero alcohol beverages come to the real deal in terms of flavor and appearance.
1. Flavor
How appetizing are the flavors? Is it all fruit, no malt? An undesirable sweetness? Industrial flavors? Or flavorful sips?
Under this parameter, we gauged the characteristic malt flavor beer normally has and the flavors labeled. Were they bold, was there a balance maintained between the two or did one overpower the other?
2. Appearance
Even before you can smell or taste your beer, you SEE it. The color, the opacity, the carbonation, and finally the head on your glass of beer (layer of foam).
More details are in the following section. Did you know? An adequate description of beer is based on four main experiences you sense with your eyes, nose, mouth, and tongue.
Beer, its appearance, and what it means
The color is an indicator of the grain (malt) used. The darker the grain, the dark is the beer.
Opacity, contrary to popular belief, does not determine a light/heavy-tasting beer. Darker malts and roasts produce coffee/chocolate taste notes, whereas lighter malts (golden) have more light, refreshing flavors.
Beers are naturally carbonated, thanks to the fermentation process. This also affects perception.
Finally, the head on the beer, the foamy cap at the top of the glass also contributes to the aroma, taste, and mouthfeel of the beverage.
3. Mouthfeel
How does the beer feel? Frothy, frizzy, light, prickly or fizzy?
4. Other Parameters
The price, packaging, shelf life, and other non-tasting parameters were observed and recorded here.
Coolberg Non Alcoholic Beer Flavours – Detailed Review
The review process was a simple taste test and our detailed experience with each variant is decoded below.
1. Cranberry
This NA beer is offered in a glass bottle. It had a vibrant label with the flavor name mentioned at the top.
In order to check the appearance accurately, we poured the NA beer into a glass. The cranberry variant had a medium, malty appearance and developed a substantial layer of the foam cap (froth).
The aroma was an inviting blend of cranberry juice and faintly sweet, malt-like notes.
Likewise, the flavor profile was also balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. This was fizzy and it felt light.

Love the tart-sweet cranberry flavor? Been assigned the role of the designated driver? Coolberg Non Alcoholic Beer in Cranberry is something you must try.
2. Ginger
The price and packaging were quite similar, except for the color of the label.
The olfactory profile was bold. It was a strong, peppery hit like that of dry ginger powder. Just like the above variant, the foam cap was fairly substantial.
Taste-wise, this had a very pronounced ginger warmth. That said, it did not get overwhelming even after a considerable amount of sips.

3. Peach
With a similar packaging, this variant made to our list of favorites as well.
It had a pleasing fruity aroma that was sweet. This aroma was laced with subtle malt notes. This had an addictive flavor. We kept going back for seconds owing to its fresh, fruitiness. This felt very natural, not artificial. We liked the well-rounded sweetness as well.

Like all things peach? This Coolberg Non Alcohol beer variant is worth a try.
4. Mint
Mint is loved for the subtly sweet but lingering, cooling sensation that it lends. From dishes to drinks, mint adds a bright flavor that quite often gets too overpowering.
Fortunately, that was not the case with Coolberg Non-Alcoholic Beer Mint. In terms of aroma, this had some fresh, bright but subtle notes of mint. It seemed natural and not synthetic, thumbs up!
Now as for the taste, it was fairly good. The flavor of mint and malt were very well in sync and the sweetness was proportionate too.

Need something refreshing, cooling, soothing after a long day? Coolberg Non Alcoholic Beer in Mint is just that.
5. Strawberry
Be it a strawberry-flavored cake or a milkshake, we’ve come across products that either have a BOLD flavor of the fruit that feels synthetic and unnatural or can barely be identified. Hence, the skepticism to taste this variant.
However, our experience with this non-alcoholic beer, we had a delightful surprise. The aroma was POPPING with a bubblegum, strawberry-like sweetness. This variant, too had a thick layer of froth. The flavor was similar as well.
Though, in the strawberry variant, the malt flavor was marginally lesser in comparison to the flavor of the fruit. This also added to the sweetness. That said, it was not too overwhelming.

- An exciting aroma
- Nice flavor of the fruit
- Unique flavor for a beer
We strongly feel this would be a hit among young adults.
Yes, this non-alcoholic beer can be offered to them OCCASIONALLY as it has 0 alcohol content.
6. Malt
The malt variant had the least amount of froth which was quite disappointing. This amber-colored beverage had a significantly poorer fizz.
However, what still kept our hopes up was the aroma. This smelled exactly like beer.
The taste, on the other hand, was like a light beer (beer with a lower abv) but a watered-down version. The flavor was not strong or prominent, just labeled malt. Definitely not something we’d pick in the first place.
