This is 11 inches (28 cm) in size and has a granite non-stick coating. This tawa is compatible with induction, gas, halogen, and ceramic stove tops. 

Usability + Overall Performance

First things first, this tawa looked magnificent. It wasn’t your regular deep gray-black granite. This was white marble that looked premium. The handle had a light wooden finish that complemented the surface of the tawa well. 

Our review process included multiple everyday Indian kitchen recipes like chillas, egg omelets, parathas, among other items. The testing process lasted for a period of 40 days.

The functionality of this tawa was exceptional. The batter spread and cooked evenly, without much oil. It also heats up uniformly. This enhanced the overall convenience. While using, the handle does not really heat up, it is safe to hold. However, the part closer to the tawa warms up a bit. Other than this, the grip is fairly comfortable and the handle is attached securely. 

The cleaning and maintenance were effortless too. Best of all, the quality (surface) does not diminish overtime. Do make sure that you use medium-low heat to cook.

One of the reviewers on our panel shared their experience. They said, “I live in a joint family where our cook prepares everything and all utensils are not handled with as much love and care as you would personally do. Even then, the tawa has sustained and the coating hasn’t come off. Sure there is slight discolouration of the surface due to using it on high heat, but other than that – this has been a phenomenal product. Super easy to use for eggs, chillas, crisp dosas. Just make sure your flame is not too high while cooking and you wash this with care.”
