Our review parameters are as follows –
1. Packaging
We lay emphasis on this because packaging impacts the way the product reaches us. The biscuits are placed directly in the pack, there is no tray. The packs are not resealable.
2. Main Ingredients
Ingredients play a crucial role that has an impact on the overall taste and texture of any cookie. We scanned the ingredient list to check how much percentage of oats has been used, the type of sweetener and fat added, and the presence of any undesirable ingredients.
3. Taste
Here we gauge how flavorful these cookies are. Does the name justify the flavor? Is the level of sugar balanced? Any distinctive flavor that the oats add to the cookie?
4. Texture
Cookies made using multiple grains have a texture different from cookies made using maida as the hero ingredient. The texture tends to be slightly grainier. But should that impact the crunch?
We examine how crisp and crunchy these cookies are. Are they chewy? Is the texture crumbly? How is the overall mouthfeel of these oats cookies? Do the nuts add extra crunch?
5. Appearance
Do these cookies look visually appealing? Were they uniform in shape and size? Any broken, crumbly pieces?
