Seasoning Mix (15%) – Cornstarch, Iodized salt, Onion powder, Spice mix – 8.8% (red chili, turmeric, coriander, cumin, ginger, cinnamon, fenugreek, clove and asafetida), Noodle powder (wheat flour, edible palm veg oil), iodized salt, acidity regulator, thickener and antioxidant), Edible veg oil (palm), Flavor enhancers, Garlic, Tomato powder, Acidity regulator, Colors, Anticaking agent and Antioxidant.

3. Taste

Spot on! These curry noodles have medium spice levels and taste delicious. The flavor of garlic and dehydrated onion complements the masala of the noodles. The salt levels are balanced.

The masala mixes well in the noodles, which is soaked up well. The proportion of the noodles to that of the seasoning mix is appropriate. These noodles are meant to be eaten in a slightly soupy form. 

The soup of these noodles tasted equally delicious. It is perfectly salty and is medium spicy. The presence of the garlic flavor amps up the overall taste of these noodles.

4. Aroma

Apart from the taste, the aroma is also a crucial parameter while we review any packaged instant noodles. Post-cooking, these noodles turned out to be aromatic. This smells masaledaar and garlicky.  

5. Appearance

Unlike other instant noodles, which are round and thin, the Nissin Top Ramen Curry noodles are flat and slightly thicker. 

6. Texture

The Nissin Top Ramen Curry Noodles turned out to have a soft texture post cooking. The noodles are not sticky or mushy. Despite being soft, they retain a nice bite to them.

We reviewed the 280 gm pack of Nissin Top Ramen Curry Noodles. The pack includes 4 equal bricks and comes with 4 individual sachets of the masala. A single noodle-cake is sufficient to serve one person. 

For preparing these noodles, we followed the same instructions as mentioned on the back of the pack. We did not add any other ingredients except the masala. However, the pack mentions that you can add boiled chicken or fresh vegetables including carrots, French beans, corn, peas, etc.

The noodles cooked up perfectly as per the time mentioned on the pack. The aroma released post-cooking was highly appetizing. Texture-wise, these noodles turned out to be soft, but not sticky/mushy. 

We liked the garlicky flavors and medium-spice levels.
